Each program is designed to meet Texas Workforce Commission standards and prepares students for the corresponding National Healthcareer Association (NHA) certification exam. Final TWC approval is pending.
Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
Vital signs, phlebotomy, EKG, medication administration, HIPAA, and a 40-hour supervised externship inside a Get Well Clinic.
CPT · Program 12BCertified Phlebotomy Technician
Venipuncture technique, order of draw, specimen handling, plus 30+ live venipunctures and capillary sticks.
CET · Program 12CCertified EKG Technician
Cardiac anatomy, 12-lead placement, rhythm interpretation, Holter monitoring, and 10 live-individual EKGs.
CMAA · Program 12DCertified Medical Administrative Assistant
Fully online, self-paced. Scheduling, medical records, insurance verification, and HIPAA-compliant office administration.

Jouvonna L. Gray, MSN, FNP-C is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Get Well Healthcare Services, LLC — a multi-location clinical care provider operating in the greater Houston metro since October 2015.
She founded Get Well Healthcare Academy in 2026 to address a growing shortage of trained allied-health professionals in Texas, and to build a real pipeline from classroom to clinic floor.
