Apply online or in person
Submit your application during any open enrollment window. Applications are reviewed within two business days.

Submit required documents
Certified high school transcript or GED, government-issued photo ID, and program-specific health & background clearances (clinical programs only).

Interview with the director
A 15-minute enrollment interview with founder-director Jouvonna Gray, MSN, FNP-C to confirm fit and answer your questions.

Sign your enrollment agreement
Includes tuition, program hours, refund policy, and TWC forms CSC-005 and CSC-010. 72-hour cancellation window applies.

Start class
Attend orientation the week before your program start date. Receive your Get Well Academy scrub set, credentials, and LMS access.

All Programs
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED (certified copy)
- Government-issued photo ID
- Signed enrollment agreement
- Completed TWC forms CSC-005 & CSC-010
- Registration fee: $50 (non-refundable after 72-hour cancellation window)
Clinical Programs — CCMA · CPT · CET
- Negative TB test within the last 12 months
- Background check (approx. $40 through Academy vendor)
- Drug screen (approx. $45 through Academy vendor)
- Closed-toe shoes and scrub-ready attire for lab days
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (available on-site during Week 1)
Online Program — CMAA
- Reliable computer: Windows 10+ or macOS 12+

A student-first refund structure — per TWC standards.
Get Well Healthcare Academy follows the Texas Workforce Commission cancellation and refund policy. A brief summary is below. The full policy is included in your enrollment agreement.
- 72-hour cancellation. A student may cancel enrollment within 72 hours (until midnight of the third day, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays) after signing an enrollment agreement and receive a full refund of all monies paid.
- Cancellation before class starts. If a student cancels after 72 hours but before class begins, the school retains only the $50 non-refundable registration fee. All other monies are refunded.
- Withdrawal after class begins. Refunds are pro-rated based on the percentage of the program completed. Detailed pro-ration tables are provided in the enrollment agreement and follow TWC Chapter 807 rules.
- Books & supplies are refundable in full if returned unopened; opened materials are non-refundable.
- Refund timing. Refunds are issued within 30 days of the effective withdrawal or cancellation date.
